Stafara’s real estate division acquires, owns, and actively manages income-generating property across Southern Africa. We focus on retail and industrial assets – the sectors where we have the deepest operational expertise – complemented by a selective interest in well-located residential opportunities.
We operate as a private investment group. Every acquisition is executed directly and privately, giving us the flexibility to move quickly and the conviction to hold assets for the long term.
Equity is drawn from our group of investors – including the Stanger and Faku family offices – alongside institutional debt partners. Each transaction is structured and capitalised independently, reflecting the unique characteristics of the asset and the investor group backing it. This approach allows us to tailor every deal to its fundamentals while maintaining clear governance across the group.
Where opportunities fit our mandate, we welcome selected co-investors to participate alongside us on individual transactions. Our approach is straightforward: aligned interests, clear terms, and genuine partnership.

Legal, financial, commercial, and technical review of the asset with independent advisors.

Formal Agreement & Capitalisation
Finalising the sale agreement, structuring the SPV, and arranging debt and equity funding.

Financial Close & Takeover
Conditions precedent fulfilment, transfer, and transition to active asset management.
